Namafjall is the mountain overlooking Hverir, a martian like geothermal landscape in Myvatn, Northern Iceland. Explore intriguing boiling blue mud pits and steaming fumaroles that surround the park. This destination is located directly off Ring Road, it is advised to visit in the in the evening if you would like to avoid the crowds. There is also a hiking trail up to Namaskard Pass and Namafjall Mountain in the area, which returns to the carpark.
