The dramatic geological cliff formations that own the coast line aren’t the only feature worth seeing at Cape Kidnappers. The location is also home to not one, but two Gannet colonies, that nest on the seaside. The best time to view the colonies is from first week of November when the chicks hatch, through to mid December. By May, all the chicks have departed on their migration to Australia.

Level: Easy
  • For adventurers of any level
